Astraeus is a UK-based independent charter airline that flies to destinations all over the globe. While the bulk of its business is conducted through partner companies that sell tour packages, Astraeus is also ideal for a friendly flight, informative tour or a relaxing holiday, all at moderate prices.

Book Travel on Astraeus

1. Visit the Astraeus Web site (see Resources below) to charter a flight or read about scheduled departures. Astraeus travels from the UK to exotic destinations like Algeria, Croatia and Guinea.
2. Book your flight directly by calling the phone number associated with the destination city. You can find this number on the Astraeus Web site. Visit the "Where we fly to" page and click on the "Our destinations" link. A list of destination cities along with their phone numbers will appear.
3. Contact the airline's main number, ([phone] (see Tips below), to request the booking number for a specific destination.
4. Those in North America can try calling [phone]. Not all of Astraeus's flights can be booked by calling this number.
5. Contact your local travel agent to view available charters and destinations. Choose one and have the agent book it for you.

6. Standard seating is assigned at check in. However, extra leg room seats are available for a fee of approximately 20 pounds. These seats are subject to availability and not offered to children, travelers who do not speak English or passengers with a history of medical problems.
7. Enjoy a complimentary hot meal on every Astraeus flight, including kids' packs. Complimentary champagne cocktails are available on all flights departing before 9 a.m.
8. Lean back in seats that recline farther than the industry standard.
9. Upgrade to star class on certain flights, and treat yourself to complimentary alcoholic drinks, in-flight entertainment and in-flight, four-course meals with your choice of appetizers.

Tips & Warnings

• The country code for the UK is 44. Those outside the UK must include an international prefix ("011" from the United States, check the prefix if you live elsewhere) and the country code.
• Astraeus does not offer direct online booking. You will need to call the airline to schedule your flight.
• When possible, book online to take advantage of frequent flyer special offers. Many are partnered with smaller airlines to offer similar rewards.
• Astraeus currently offers scheduled flights to about a dozen destinations, most of which are only available through third-party tour companies servicing the destination city. For example, scheduled flights to Accra, Ghana, are partnered by Ghana Tours. Scheduled flights to Freetown, Sierra Leone, are partnered by Kevin McPhillips Travel.
