SkyWork is a charter flight service that operates out of Berne, Switzerland. The fleet contains a variety of planes suitable for business or group travel. Here's how to book a flight.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access

Book Your Flights on SkyWork

Step1
Go to the Skywork Web site (see Resources below). Click the "Contact Us" tab and enter your information to receive a quote for a charter flight. Enter your city of departure and destination city, as well as any other legs of the journey you want to incorporate. Don't forget to tell the airline whether your travel dates are firm or flexible.
Step2
Call SkyWork directly for your booking arrangements at 011 (+41) 31 961 00 00. Flights can be arranged with as little as 45 minutes notice.

Choose Your Flight Details

Step1
Take your group from Berne to the European destination of your choice. Go to Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Geneva, Naples or Cagliari.
Step2
Fly to more than 1,000 smaller airports that larger airlines can't access. Small charter airplanes have access to more local landing strips and noncommercial airports, getting you closer to your end destination.
Step3
Choose an Italian destination to take advantage of SkyWork's travel packages. Packages are offered for trips from Berne to various destinations in Italy, including Elbe, Olbia, Tortoli and Figari.
Step4
Have your plane converted to make it more comfortable for your group. Planes for 31 passengers can be adjusted to 22 seats with a more spacious feel.

Get Ready to Fly

Step1
Learn about the security procedures in place at each of the airports you'll pass through. Your SkyWork sales representative might be able to give you this information. If not, consult the Web sites of each individual airport.
Step2
Take with you a total of 15 kg or 33 lb of luggage on the flight. Luggage heavier than this needs to be cleared with SkyWork in advance.
Step3
Find out what special items may be permitted on board the aircraft. Notify the airline if you'll have large items such as golf clubs or musical instruments.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally outside the United States, substitute that "011" with "00."
  • Due to the nature of charter flights, you cannot complete a booking through the airline's Web site.
