How to Book Travel on Vueling Airlines

Vueling Airlines offers flights to Spain, Europe and the Mediterranean. Here's how to book a flight on the carrier.

Book Your Flight on Vueling Airlines

1. Reserve seats online at the Vueling Airlines Web site (see Resources below). All prices are listed in euros. Be aware of foreign transaction fees on U.S. credit cards.

2. Call the reservation number in Spain at 011 ([phone]. Remember that this is not a 24-hour line; operators work from 7 a.m. to midnight only, local time.

3. Agree to Vueling Airlines' conditions of carriage before making your reservation. The conditions of carriage outline the rules and regulations for booking, payment, check-in procedures and baggage requirements.

4. Arrive at the check-in counter at least 40 minutes prior to departure if you plan to check baggage. The counter will close after that. The gate closes 10 minutes prior to departure. Pack only one carry-on bag, as that is the maximum number allowed.

5. Check in online up to two days prior to your flight's departure. Print your boarding pass and bring it with you to the airport.

6. Go to the Vueling Airlines Web site and view a map of all its destination cities. Roll your mouse over a city name to make the available connections to other cities appear.

7. Click on a city name to view a quick online travel guide. View information on hotels, car rentals, restaurants, regular business hours and links to additional online resources.

8. Book a hotel room or rent a car directly through Vueling's Web site to access special rates and discounts.

9. Discover new places with the travel guide's "Don't Miss" list of sights and attractions.

Find the Lowest Possible Fare

10. Click on the link labeled "Find The Lowest Fare."

11. Select the type of trip you'd like to take: round-trip or one-way. Next, select the month or months in which you would like to travel. Last, select the total number of passengers and click "Search."

12. Roll your mouse over the resulting graph to view rates for each day of the month. Once you have decided on a date and a fare, click your selection with the mouse. Click "Continue."

13. Check special offers. Vueling Airlines offers special rates between specific destinations; click on the "Offers" link to view these prices before you select and book your flight.

14. Enjoy the flight! All Vueling flights are nonstop.

• Use the lowest fare option if your travel dates are flexible.

on 6/27/2009 Vueling's web site does not appear to recognize US issued credit cards. Personally put in four different cards; all rejected. Thread on this on tripadvisor.
