Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  • Passport

    Book Air Travel on FlyNordic

  1. Step 1

Book your ticket on FlyNordic by calling one of these international phone numbers: 011 (+46) (0)8-585 54 400 in Sweden, 011 (+47) 24 14 87 58 in Norway or 011 (+45) 32 53 33 25 in Denmark. You can also book your tickets online through FlyNordic's Web site (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Select your departure city, destination and travel dates once you're online. You can also select the currency you'd like to work with.

  3. Step 3

Consider your baggage. FlyNordic charges extra for large luggage items like golf bags, skis, snowboards and pet crates.

  4. Step 4

Request special services if you or a fellow passenger are physically disabled, deaf or blind.

  5. Step 5

Anticipate an additional fee if you are booking a ticket for an unaccompanied minor.

  6. Step 6

Book a hotel, car rental or taxi in your destination city. FlyNordic passengers receive special rates.

  7. Step 7

Pay for your flight and be sure to copy down or print your booking reference number. Keep it on your person when traveling rather than stashed away in hard-to-access luggage. Expect flights to be moderately to expensively priced, depending on where you are headed.

  8. Choose Your Dream Destination

  9. Step 1

Find informative summaries on each travel destination at the FlyNordic Web site. If you are traveling for pleasure and can freely choose your destinations, you may find these summaries especially helpful.

  10. Step 2

Download FlyNordic's free travel guides in .pdf format for more information. There is one for each destination city. Trade in that thick travel book for a few sheets of paper. Lists of restaurants, hotels, bars and even a map will help guide you throughout your trip.

  11. Step 3

Investigate further. After each city summary is a link, or links, to additional online resources.

  12. Step 4

Keep an eye out for specials FlyNordic may offer, whether for your car, hotel or flight. You may be able to snag a great deal in a smaller city you previously overlooked.

  13. Get Ready to Fly

  14. Step 1

Check FlyNordic's Web site for specific airport terminal information.

  15. Step 2

Check international travel safety regulations, especially those governing carry-on items. Leave enough time to transfer items from carry-on bags to bags you intend to check. You don't want to have to throw away expensive face creams or other forbidden items.

  16. Step 3

Stash snacks in your carry-on luggage. FlyNordic does offer in-flight meals and refreshments for a fee.

  17. Step 4

Have your passport and booking reference number at the ready.

Tips & Warnings
  • Booking your air travel online saves you the expense of placing an international phone call.
  • FlyNordic is a limited destination airline. The airline's hub is Stockholm, which is also the only connecting location for most destinations.
  • Be aware of foreign transaction fees, especially on a U.S. credit card.
