Travel on MyAir

Step1
Be ready for a bare-bones flight. MyAir's business plan involves efficiency, rapid expansion and stringent price-cutting. You save money when you book the tickets, so don't expect the niceties of a pricier airline.
Step2
Book your travel on MyAir's Web site (see Resources below). You can buy inexpensive prices for certain flights. In addition, the company's Web site lets you select rental cars, apartments, travel insurance and airport shuttles. You can also book by phone at 011 (+39) 0044 20736 5 1597.
Step3
Amuse yourself on board with the lottery scratchers the airline sells.
Step4
Wait around like a VIP. One of the best features of MyAir is that you can buy access to airport lounges all over Europe for a nominal fee. That's a small price to pay to spend time with some of the movers and shakers of European business.

Learn About MyAir

Step1
Know that the MyAir fleet consists of nine planes, all French and American. The airline bought 19 more jets in 2006. The average age of the aircraft composing the fleet is less than 2 years.

Consider your destination. The airline flies to most major Italian cities and is based in Bergamo, about 25 miles north of Milan. Cities served by MyAir include Barcelona, Bucharest, Casablanca, Istanbul, Marrakech, Sofia and about 20 others.
Step3
Procrastinate. MyAir allows passengers to book travel through its Web site up to 2.5 hours before takeoff.
Step4
Pay for your flight with any major credit card. But be ready to forfeit your money if you don't show up or if you arrive less than 40 minutes before your flight. MyAir does not issue refunds or transfers.
Step5
Call ahead if you plan on bringing a pet. MyAir allows animals up to 22 pounds, and they charge an extra baggage fee for animal transport.

  • Book your air travel online to take advantage of MyAir's "no change fee" policy.
  • MyAir doesn't have any class other than "standard."
  • Watch out for those fees! MyAir charges you to send an e-mail with your confirmation number.
