Things You'll Need:
- Passport
- Visa
-
Step 1
Reserve your tickets on the Evolavia Web site (see the Resources section below). You can also call the airline directly at 011 (+39) 899 000 929.
-
Step 2
Depart Italy from the Ancona Falconara Airport. This airport has a small restaurant, bar, currency-changer and newsstand. You can access public transportation or use one of the airport's six car rental agencies.
-
Step 3
Be advised that Evolavia calls itself a "tour operator." In fact, they offer only bare-bones, one-way trips so they can be open-ended with dates and thus offer the lowest possible prices. You won't see any discounts for round-trip fares; prices are already budget-class.
-
Step 4
Bring your infants for free (one per adult). Children up to age 12 travel at a reduced rate but still require fully documented tickets and passports.
-
Step 1
Evolavia flies from Ancona to Moscow and back once per week on Wednesdays. The trip from Ancona to Paris is more frequent, going there and back on Thursdays and Fridays during the winter, and adding Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.
-
Step 2
Expect to travel on a Fokker jet that seats 100 passengers if you go to Paris and a Boeing 737-200 for the Moscow route. To save money, Evolavia does not provide catering on its flights.
-
Step 3
Join Evolavia's special corporate program for discounts on business travel. Though not known primarily as a business city, Ancona is a huge Aegean port, Italy's primary link to both Yugoslavia and Greece.
-
Step 4
Note that Evolavia works in conjunction with Blue Line Air in France and KrasAir in Russia. Contact those companies for information regarding Evolavia in those countries.
