Step1
Call the reservations line at 011 (+63) 2 855-9000 to book your travel on Air Philippines. You can also visit the Web site (see the Resources section below).
Step2
Press the "Show Schedule" button on the Air Philippines Web site to see flight information and choose the departure and arrival times that best fit your schedule.
Step3
Enter your personal information, including your name, phone number, address and e-mail. Enter any other important information in the comment box, such as alternative ways to contact you or special accessibility or dietary needs.
Step4
Press "Continue," then review your information. If it is correct, select the "Reserve Now" button to send your application to the reservation office for processing.
Step5
Pay online by credit card after you receive an e-mail confirming your reservation. In general, the airline's prices are inexpensive to moderate.

Tips & Warnings

  • 011 is the dialing prefix used for telephoning abroad from the United States. If you're calling from another country, check which international dialing prefix to use. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a “+” sign.
  • Book online to access package deals and get easy access to current airline regulations, all in one place.
  • Before you book your flight, check the weather. From December to May, you will find strong trade winds in the Philippines. June to November is monsoon (winds and rain) and typhoon season. All of these may cause delays or flight cancellations.
  • If you're a U.S. citizen with a passport that's valid for at least 6 months and a return ticket, you may enter the Philippines without a visa. Authorities from immigration will append an entry visa (valid for 21 days) to your passport.
  • If you aren't sure where to stay in the Philippines, consider the travel hubs, Makati and Ortigas, which have a large number of shopping areas. You'll find malls such as the Robinson's Galleria, the Megamall and the Podium.
  • Even if Air Philippines confirms your reservation, you must arrive at the airport 45 minutes before the published departure time. Otherwise, your ticket is subject to cancellation, and the airline can give your reservation to someone on the waiting list.
  • Never wander away from your travel companions or travel alone to unfamiliar places. The U.S. government currently warns travelers about armed bandits and terrorists working in some parts of the Philippines.
