How to Book Travel on Japan Asia Airways

Japan Asia Airways (JAA) opened in 1975. Originally, the carrier's sole purpose was to provide flights to Taiwan. Since then, JAA has expanded its service to other destinations.

Book Your Tickets on Japan Asia Airways

1. Book your Japan Asia Airways tickets through Japan Airlines. Call from a landline at 011 ([phone] or from a cell phone at 011 ([phone]. You can also book your Japan Asia Airways tickets at the Japan Airlines Web site (see the Resources section below).
2. Find the flight that meets all your criteria, follow the prompts and enter your credit card information. Print out your ticket confirmation and keep it where you will not lose it.
3. Have Japan Airlines mail a paper ticket to your home, or opt for an e-ticket.

Choose a Point of Departure

4. Select your city of departure in Japan. You can fly out of the international airports at Centrair (Chubu), Kansai (Osaka) or Narita (Tokyo) to most airports served by Japan Asia Airways.
5. Fly to Taiwan. You can fly from any of the above airports to the Taoyuan International Airport or the airport in Taipei. If flying from Narita, you can also travel to Taichung, Taiwan.
6. Fly from Narita in Tokyo to Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
7. Arrive at one Taiwanese airport and depart from another if you plan to explore this island country. Japan Asia Airways flies from four cities on Taiwan.

9. Review airport security restrictions the day before your flight. Security measures change frequently, so review them as close to your flight as possible.
10. Restrict the weight of your carry-on bag to 10 kilograms (15 pounds). Remember that you are allowed only one carry-on when you travel on Japan Asia Airways.
