There's good news for globe-trotters wishing to travel to India. GoAir currently flies to Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Jaipur, Chennai and Coimbatore. Here's how to book a seat.

How to Book Travel on GoAir

1. Call the GoAir Customer Call Center at (800) 222-111 or (mobile) 011 ([phone] or visit GoAir's user-friendly Web site to book your travel (see Resources below). Everything you need to begin your flight schedule search is there on the home page.

2. Check out the special offers and promotions before searching for flight schedules. You can choose from holiday and seasonal offers, the Go Travel deal of the month and current promotions.

3. Return to the home page and enter your origin and destination cities along with travel dates to make reservations or to check flight schedules. Airfare should be reasonably priced.

4. Select your preferred schedule from the "GoBook A Flight" page and click on "Book Now" to reserve your flight on GoAir.

5. Enter your name, contact and credit card information. GoAir will issue you an e-ticket which you should print and present at check-in.

6. Give the airline at least 2 hours advanced notice if you need to change the origin and/or destination of travel or date or time. Contact GoAir through the Web site, airport ticketing counter or call the GoAir Customer Call Center.

Tips & Warnings

• Book online to reserve your accommodations early and save. Try to book your flight up to 6 months in advance to get the cheapest fares.
• Bring your own snacks for the trip or be prepared to purchase refreshments from the in-flight crew. GoAir does not serve complimentary meals or beverages.
• You will pay a fee, plus the difference between your original fare and revised fare, should you need to change, re-book or cancel your reservation through the call center or airport reservation desk. There's also a fee if you make the changes through the Web site or a travel agent.
• You can only book flights into Ahmedabad from Mumbai. This is important to remember as this city has become one of the most sought-after destinations in India, particularly for business travelers.
• GoAir tickets are non-refundable.
• Report for your flight at least 40 minutes prior to your departure or your fare will be forfeited.
