Book Travel on Trans Air Congo

Step1
Work with a local travel agency familiar with African air carriers to book your travel with Trans Air Congo. It's the only available way to book a reservation.
Step2
Visit the offices of Trans Air Congo at either Brazzaville or Pointe-Noire in person if you've already arrived in the Republic of the Congo.
Step3
Call 011 (+242) 82 01 74 if you'd like to reach a representative in Brazzaville with any questions about their flights. Keep in mind that you cannot book reservations through this line.
Step4
Know that Trans Air Congo airfare is moderately priced and budget accordingly.

Relax on Your Flight with Trans Air Congo

Step1
Choose Trans Air Congo's Boeing 737 for longer flights, especially the ones outside of the Congo, like the flights to Johannesburg, South Africa.
Step2
Consider one of the smaller Antonov An-24 or Let Kunovice L-410 turboprop planes, which carry around 40 passengers at a time, for shorter trips within the boundaries of the Republic of the Congo.

Experience the Republic of the Congo

Step1
Take a stroll along the beaches just north of Pointe-Noire, where the thick jungle comes right up to the shoreline.
Step2
Take a walk during the day along the edges of the city of Brazzaville and observe the sudden edge of the humid, formidable rain forest.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the U.S. international prefix "011." When calling internationally outside the United States, substitute that "011" with "00."
  • All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.
  • Expect to pay departure taxes just prior to boarding any plane in the Republic of the Congo.
  • Trans Air Congo does not currently offer online booking through their Web site or via telephone.
  • While most of the major cities such as Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire are safe to walk through during the day, you shouldn't be outside after nightfall.
  • Malaria is quite common and widespread in the Republic of the Congo, as well as most central African countries. It is imperative that you receive all required vaccinations at least one month before setting foot in Africa.
