Wimbi Dira Airways, based in N'Djili Airport in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, offers charter, cargo and scheduled services to most of the major cities in the country. Founded in 2003, Wimbi Dira Airways operates a fleet of 5 large commercial airliners, including a Boeing 707 and 727, and two DC-9s. Charter service to Johannesburg, South Africa, is also possible. Follow these step to book your ticket.

  • Wimbi Dira Airways does not currently offer a central phone number for booking.
  • The immediate area around N'Djili Airport in Kinshasa is considered to be very dangerous for travelers because of the high military activity along the border. Stay away from the neighborhoods surrounding the airport.
  • Malaria and other contagious diseases are serious health hazards in this part of the world. Receive all the appropriate vaccinations at least one month before arriving in Africa.
