Take advantage of the Eurail Spain-Portugal Rail Pass. This first-class pass allows unlimited travel on any three consecutive or non-consecutive days in a two-month period on all national rail networks within Spain and Portugal.

Observe that there is only one train per day that travels only at night when you travel from Madrid to Lisbon.

Select Sleeping Accommodations

Understand Travel Details and Restrictions

Clarify if you want a smoking car when reserving passage. All reservations are otherwise automatically placed in a non-smoking compartment.

Travel time from Madrid to Lisbon is nine hours and 55 minutes to the Lisbon Oriente station. Add an additional 10 minutes for arrival at the Santa Apolonia station.
