Book Train Travel From Warsaw to Poznan
Step1
Book your train tickets by visiting the RailEurope Web site. See the Resources section below for a link. You can also call (888) 382-RAIL.
Step2
Pick a class of service. Only faster trains feature first-class.
Step3
Select the type of ticket. Senior citizen and student discounts are often available.
Step4
Choose between a single journey ticket, or if you will be traveling through Poland, a System Ticket.
Step5
Reserve at least two hours for one way travel between Warsaw and Poznan, not including time needed at the station.
Step6
Purchase your train tickets up to 60 days in advance, but remember that there are no available refunds. Make sure you know exactly when and what you require before making the purchase.
Embark on Your Journey
Step1
Arrive at the Warsaw station. Read the yellow signs to find your platform. "Peron" is platform in Polish.
Step2
Read your ticket to find your train number and seat number, if applicable.
Step3
Board your train. First-class trains are red and white. Second-class trains are green and white.
Step4
Read signs at each stop and get off the train at the Poznan station. Be mindful that conductors do not announce arrival cities.
