Save the train for travel in and around Athens. Since Aegina is an island, it is impossible to take a train to and from Athens.

Step3
Take a boat from Athens to Aegina Island. Regular ferries leave from Piraeus port and travel into Aegina Town.

Plan your trip according to the weather. Although Athens is only a short distance away from Aegina, the trip can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour depending on the weather.
