Take advantage of one of the expensive luxury resorts designed specifically for divers that offer diving instruction, equipment, shops and a waterfront location.
Find Transportation

Fly from the cities of Honolulu, Manila and Guam to reach Micronesia. These flights often originate in Asia, Australia or the United States.

Buy a Visit Micronesia Pass if traveling from Guam to the country, which allows you to jump around and visit the various major islands.

Travel aboard one of the ships or boats that transport visitors between the various states and islands of Micronesia.

Hop in a taxi or jeepney for inexpensive travel around the major islands of Micronesia. Car rental services are also available.
Know Your Destination

Know that Micronesia is located east of the Philippines and northwest of Polynesia. Considered beautiful for its tropical jungles and steep shoreline cliffs, Micronesia also has many clean lagoons that are ideal for fishing, snorkeling and diving.

Visit Local Attractions

Check out Chuck's Underwater Wreck Museum, which includes 60 Japanese ships and planes from World War II, located in Yap.

Hike Kosrae's Mt. Finkol with the expectations of a challenging trek but be prepared to be rewarded with the view from the top.

Journey into Pohnpei's interior jungle to really explore the tropics of Micronesia.

Trek through the jungle of Lelu island until you reach the Lelu ruins, which was once a highly protected large city designed specifically for the royalty of Kosrae during the 13th and 14th centuries.
