Step1
Contact the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board at 011 (+60) 3 2693 5188 for recommendations on accommodations in the area. See the Resources section below for a link to the organization.
Step2
Check out the historical district for boutique hotels that are reasonably priced and in a location convenient for enjoying some of Melaka's popular tourist spots.
Step3
Find moderately priced accommodations near Melaka Raya, the most popular area for nightlife in the city. Visitors can enjoy plenty of pubs, cafes and discos, all of which are busy on the weekends.
Step4
Stay in one of the dorm-style hotels, perfect for travelers on a budget. These accommodations are affordable, clean and located conveniently near the bus station.

Find Transportation

Step1
Hop on one of the Batang buses to catch a ride to the airport. The city also offers long-distance buses that will transport visitors to neighboring areas in Malaysia.

Drive down the North-South Expressway in Melaka for an easy route to travel around the area. Singapore is a three-hour drive away.

Know Your Destination
