Decide what kind of show you want to see. There are a wide variety of outdoor shows during the summer months in Indianapolis. You can go to the annual Indianapolis Jazz Fest which is held in downtown Indianapolis. Or you can check for events at the Amphitheater at Celebration Park.

Plan ahead and look for shows that are a few month away. Outdoor concerts will sell out quickly when the performer is popular.

Purchase your tickets if necessary. It is important to purchase tickets early especially when you are going with a large group of people. You may also be able to get better seats when you plan ahead and buy your tickets early.

Look into the festivals in Indianapolis. Two of the more popular festivals are the Irish Fest and the Russian Fest. Both festivals offer live music and other fun events.
