Decide on a time to visit Ashville. The best time to find outdoor concerts in Asheville is during the summer months. There are a variety of outdoor festivals with live outdoor music. Bele Chere is the most popular festival and features all kinds of music from folk to rock. You can also find live music every Saturday night in July and August at the City Plaza, located in downtown Asheville.

Consider what kind of music you would like to enjoy. You can see the Asheville Symphony when you prefer classical music. Or you can check out the Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival when you prefer rock and jazz music.

on 5/8/2008 The Biltmore Estate offers a wide mix of outdoor concerts. I saw the B-52's and the concert was awesome with the Biltmore House behind me and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance behind the stage. The shows do go on rain or shine so you take some risk when you purchase tickets.
