First invented in Puerto Rico, the Piña Colada is a sweet drink made from coconut milk. In the alcoholic version, one adds rum. Things You'll Need

  • 6 oz. coconut milk
  • 2 tsp. crushed pineapple
  • 2 cups of ice
  • Pineapple wedge

      Combine the milk, ice and crushed pineapple into a blender.

      Blend on high-speed until smooth. Add water to the mix to smooth the consistency.

      Pour the mix into a decorative glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do not have coconut milk, there are non-alcoholic Piña Colada mixes available at the grocery store.

  • Be sure to cover the blender.
