How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Piña Colada

First invented in Puerto Rico, the Piña Colada is a sweet drink made from coconut milk. In the alcoholic version, one adds rum. But, for those who want a virgin option, you can still enjoy this sweet treat anytime of the year, or preferably on the beach in sun. Read on to learn how to make a Piña Colada.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 6 oz. coconut milk
  • 2 tsp. crushed pineapple
  • 2 cups of ice
  • Pineapple wedge
  • 2 tsp. crushed pineapple
  • Pineapple wedge
  • 6 oz. coconut milk
  • 2 cups of ice
Step1
Combine the milk, ice and crushed pineapple into a blender.
Step2
Blend on high-speed until smooth. Add water to the mix to smooth the consistency.
Step3
Pour the mix into a decorative glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do not have coconut milk, there are non-alcoholic Piña Colada mixes available at the grocery store.
  • Be sure to cover the blender.
