How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Raspberry Margarita

Choices, choices, choices. The problem with non-alcoholic margaritas is that they come in too many flavors. You can make a non-alcoholic raspberry margarita one day and then a lemon one the next. Things You'll Need

  • 4 cups of raspberries
  • Blender
  • Lime juice
  • Sugar
  • 4 cups of ice cubes

      Clean and sort enough raspberries to fill four cups. Save a few of the berries to use as a garnish for the finished drink.

      Add the four cups of raspberries and four cups of ice cubes to a blender. Grind up these ingredients into a coarse mixture.

      Add lime juice, coarse salt and sugar to taste. Start with small, equal amounts of each and sample the mixture. A good place to start is ½ tsp. each.

      Blend the mixture until it is a smooth slush which would easily pour into a mug.

      Fill up a mug with your non-alcoholic raspberry margarita creation. Place a raspberry that you set aside earlier on the top of the drink.

      Stick a pair of long straws in the mug. Serve and consume immediately.

Tips & Warnings

  • Cheat a little. Add a couple 12 oz. containers of frozen raspberry juice to the other ingredients instead of the fresh raspberries and ice. Caution: This results in an intense drink.

  • Never rim the edge of a non-alcoholic raspberry margarita mug with salt: Always use sugar.
