Say hello to summer with this tropical drink that eats like a shake. Make a non-alcoholic Mango Daiquiri out of ice cream and sweet, fresh mangoes and you have your drink and your dessert covered.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • 2-3 mangoes
  • Banana, peeled
  • Shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cream
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of rum flavoring
  • Banana

  • Blender
  • Rum flavoring
  • Mangoes
  1. Step 1

    Wash several ripe mangoes. 2 to 3 pieces of fruit should be sufficient.

  2. Step 2

    Peel and slice a ripe banana.

  3. Step 3

    Place the mangoes and banana slices in a blender, and then add the lemon juice and a couple scoops of ice cream.

  4. Step 4

    Pour in the milk and add the rum flavoring.

  5. Step 5

    Sprinkle a few pinches of shredded coconut into the blender.

  6. Step 6

    Blend the mixture until it is creamy smooth.

  7. Step 7

    Serve immediately, before the ice cream melts.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make non-alcoholic Mango Daiquiri mix ahead of time and freeze this tasty drink for later use.
  • If you are dieting, swap out the ice cream for ice cubes to cut out a lot of sugar and fat in this drink.
