When deciding which Treo Smartphone to buy, it is best to look at all of the options available weighed against your personal needs. Fortunately, the Internet has done the legwork for you, and you can compare Treo prices and model options from the comfort of your home using the manufacturer's homepage.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  1. Step 1

Go online and go to the Web site homepage (see Resources below). Scroll down and click on the "Smartphones" option just under the "Treo Store" heading in the left column of the page.

  2. Step 2

The Treo models are listed on the bottom of the first heading on this page. Take note of the footnotes listed at the bottom of the page as they describe several special circumstances.

  3. Step 3

View each model by clicking on the model number, taking note of each model's specific features. Take notes on each model so that you can compare each option without clicking back and forth between pages.

  4. Step 4

Click on the various links on each model page to view the options and accessories that are available and weigh them against your specific needs. Again take notes for each model.

  5. Step 5

Armed with this arsenal of knowledge, feel comfortable in making an informed purchase!

Tips & Warnings
  • The manufacturer's homepage has a model comparison chart that features all product models available. It lists all Treo products in an easy side-by-side comparison.
  • Pay close attention to the numbered notes at the bottom of the comparison chart. They are full of useful information that can help you make your decision.
  • Bear in mind that this is a manufacturer's Web site that may not provide balanced information. It is useful in comparing specific Treo models, but makes no comparisons between its products and those of competing manufacturers.
  • For a less potentially biased comparison, consider checking out one or more of the consumer product Web sites available, but remember that many of these sites require a subscription.
