From Quick Guide: Using PDAs
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  1. Step 1

Get online and head to Sprint’s Web site (see Resources below). The page contains several options including customer service and phone plans. The page also has several options for product and service searches.

  2. Step 2

Click the “Sprint Phones” button. It is located in the first tab on the left side of the screen.

  3. Step 3

Click the “Support” tab on the next page that loads. It is the fourth tab from the left in the center of the page.

  4. Step 4

Select the “Phones and Devices” tab on this page. It is the second tab toward the left side of the screen. From this page you can also select several links to accessories and service pages.

  5. Step 5

Choose a PDA by clicking on the photo of the device. A page will load with several itemized links to various topics about the product. Review the product and take notes about the specific options available.

  6. Step 6

Select the “Choose Another Device” link to return to the screen that displays all of the available items. The site will route you back to the top of the screen, so be sure to make a note of the make and model that you just viewed.

  7. Step 7

Select additional devices individually, following steps five and six. Make sure that you keep detailed notes on each product.

Tips & Warnings
  • To narrow your results, use the site’s search engine that is located at the top of the page. This will help to find specific devices and features, and will shorten your list and search time quite a bit.
  • Take lots of notes. The support page doesn't offer the side-by-side comparison chart that is available on many other sites.
  • Keep in mind that this is a manufacturer’s and service provider’s Web site. The information presented may be slightly biased. Consider consulting an independent consumer-reporting site, but be aware that they may charge a subscription fee.
  • The details link on this site loops you back to the Sprint homepage, so your best bet is to do your comparisons through the “Support” link.
