How to Fight Isabella in Dead Rising

Although she may look appealing, this young lady isn't too fond of you at the start, and she tries her hardest to get away from you! If you want to have any hope of having a future with her, you'll need to fight her. Tough love, huh?

Instructions

1. Get a katana or the mini-chainsaw. Standard boss-fight procedure here. See our articles on defeating Adam the Clown and Properly Utilizing the Mini-Chainsaw for full details. There is a cutlery shop in North Plaza, wherein you may find a wealth of katanas. Bring 2.

2. Grab a shotgun or 2 if that is easier than the mini-chainsaws. The gun store is also in North Plaza, so access is convenient if you've beaten the psycho in the store.

3. Bring some OJ or wine. 2 bottles is plenty, and the grocery store is right where you're fighting if you need more afterward.

4. Head to Seon's in North Plaza when you get the "Another Source" Case. Isabella will be coming out of the grocery store, but watch out! She's got a motorcycle.

5. Try and get close to Isabella when she is stopped and is turning her bike toward you. Take a couple of whacks at her if you can. It is tricky, but keep at it!

6. Try and stay close to Isabella! If you wander off, she'll whip out a pistol and start shooting you! She's a good shot, so don't try it.

7. Stay on the ground if you're using mêlée weapons. Don't bother trying to run up onto the scaffolding, she'll follow you on the bike!

8. Jump up on the dumpster if you're going the gunslinger route. She won't be able to hit you with the bike, so you only need to worry about getting shot.

9. Keep at it! 4 or 5 strokes from the katana or mini-chainsaw will bring her off the bike and end the fight.
