You might have the biggest meal plan or the smallest, either way, there's a way to get the most out of it, and by most I mean food.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Student ID card
  • Backpack
  • Snack baggies
  1. Step 1

Analyze what plan you have. Are you an all you can eat, giant, i don't need to worry, card holder, a 10 meals a week, or a dollars type of person? If you have the all you can eat plan, help out your friends who don't, and read the below steps. If you have a limited number of meals a week, this is perfect for you, keep reading. If you are on a pay each time you go person, keep reading.

  2. Step 2

Decide which meal time is most important to you. I recommend breakfast and dinner, but it's up to you in the end. This step is especially important if you are on a limited plan. If you pick breakfast and dinner, you might find something at breakfast that can serve as lunch later.

  3. Step 3

Swipe your card and head into the dining facility. Eat what you normally would and then decide what you want in your room, something for later that day, or if you're hosting a party, what others might like. Fruit is always a good thing, grab some extra oranges, bananas, apples and thow them in your backpack. If it's breakfast you might want cereal to put in a baggie that you brought or if they have the cute boxes you're set. Lunch, hook yourself up with some extra bread, meats (if you have a fridge), chips (the bagged kind are great), and really anything else you see. Dinner time usually has it all, so scope out the situation and then go for what you need. Be sure to hit up the dessert section, everyone loves cookies at a party.

  4. Step 4

The escape. Some dining facilities don't like when you take food to go, so when in step 3 be careful. However, once you have the food in hand, you stil have to get out the doors. It helps to travel with friends, bring your backpack, don't "over-stuff" and try not to look suspicious.

Tips & Warnings
  • Your not stealing or cheating, although the school might tell you otherwise. You pay for your meal, but they don't say when you have to eat it. Plus, the only thing they can make you do is a. put it back, b. throw it away, c. extreme case: write you up (highly unlikey).
  • Some friends are bad at being relaxed about maximizing meal plans. Don't eat with them unless you have to, they can ruin things fast otherwise.
