How to Use a Strap-On Dildo

Strap-on dildos are primarily used for lesbian sex, but some straight couples like to use them, as well.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Personal lubricant
  • A strap-on dildo
  • A condom
  1. Step 1

Strap on the strap-on dildo. Make sure it fits tight—the tighter it is, the more sensation you will feel.

  2. Step 2

Use plenty of personal lubricant on the dildo. You can also put a condom on it for added safety.

  3. Step 3

Insert the dildo into your partner's vagina at an upward angle towards her stomach, not towards her spine. Go slow and easy at first.

  4. Step 4

You can try out different sexual positions while using a strap-on dildo.

  5. Step 5

Have fun, but let your partner guide how fast and deep you penetrate her.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wash your strap-on dildo before and after each use.
  • Use a water-based personal lubricant to prevent discomfort.
  • Make sure that the strap on dildo that you choose fits you well ,and that you give it a try before jumping into bed with your partner. Get used to how it acts and reacts to your movement.
  • Some strap-on dildos come with batteries and vibrate as an added feature to increase the user's pleasure. Set the vibrating element on "low" to start, and increase the intensity according to your preference.
  • If you use your strap-on dildo in both the vagina and anus, wash it or put a fresh condom on it between orifices.

on 6/1/2009 What about harness and dildo materials? And styles? What kind of lubes work best for what kind of sex and with what kind of toys? This article is seriously lacking. It's nothing more than common sense.
