When you want to perform the armchair sexual position, all you need is a chair or a couch--and, of course, a willing partner. This position can be performed on any furniture but requires that the male kneel in front of the female. Here’s how to have sex on a chair, couch or even off the side of a bed.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Appropriate furniture
  • Condoms
  1. Step 1

Find a partner with whom you share some sort of emotional bond. Undress and begin your foreplay.

  2. Step 2

Locate a chair or couch that is stable and strong enough to hold the weight of the female.

  3. Step 3

The female will sit on the chair near the edge and spread her legs.

  4. Step 4

The male will position himself between her legs and insert his penis into her vagina. He can lean against the arms of the chair to keep his weight off the woman and allow for deeper thrusting.

  5. Step 5

    Move rhythmically until both climax.

Tips & Warnings
  • This position is good for pregnant women.
  • For maximum female pleasure, the man should start with slow, deep penetration, then increase the speed gradually. Using one free hand to gently stimulate the clitoris is also advisable.
  • Be sure the chair is stable. Lightweight folding chairs or stools are not recommended.
  • Use a condom or other form of birth control to reduce the risk of STDs.
