Step 1
Visit the Web site for Seattle Out and Proud (SOAP) or the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to find events and join the advocacy community (see Resources below).

Step 2
The parade starts downtown near Westlake Park and continues to the Seattle Center. Check with SOAP to learn the exact route and choose a viewing spot.

Step 3
If you want to perform in the festival, send an email to entertainment@seattlepride.org. You must submit a CD or DVD of your performance, your bio, a press kit and resume and a fifty-word essay on why you wish to perform at the festival.

To work as a volunteer during the festival, send an e-mail to SOAP at volunteer@seattlepride.org, or call the organization at 206-322-9561.

Many Seattle nightclubs cater to a gay clientele, among them are R Place, Purr, Manray, Trax Bar and Grill, The Wild Rose and Sugar.
