Whether you are gay or lesbian, or just support the rights of your fellow human beings, and you live in Philadelphia, you can enjoy a celebration of unity by attending a gay pride festival in the City of Brotherly Love.

  1. Step 1

    Visit the Website for Philly Pride Presents or the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to find events in your area and join the advocacy community (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    You can volunteer to help with the march and other events by sending an email to: pridevolunteers@aol.com.

  3. Step 3

    Besides the annual parade, Philly Pride hosts an annual OutFest Festival Weekend, called the largest coming out block party in the world.

  4. Step 4

    Winter Pride is an indoor event with gay groups and businesses represented from all over the world.
