Whether you live in Trempealeau County or are just visiting, be sure to enjoy an outdoor concert. Bring along a picnic and your family during a balmy summer night and treat yourself to some live music while you eat and relax.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Transportation
  • Tickets
Step1
Check out the Trempealeau County Tourism Web site’s calendar of events. You can find a list of concerts and festivals in all of the cities in Trempealeau.
Step2
Visit the Historic Trempealeau Hotel. The Hotel hosts a series of outdoor performances every year. The season is kicked off by a two-day music festival in May and continues on until September. Check the Web site for details.
Step3
Show up before the crowd gets there. Good seats go fast at outdoor events, so come first and be served first. Bring a blanket and lay claim to the best seat in the joint.

Tips & Warnings

  • Rain or shine, the show must go on! Bring an umbrella in case the unthinkable happens and dress in layers for changing temperatures as the sun goes down.
  • Make things easy and stay at the Historic Trempealeau Hotel. Make reservations soon!
  • Leave the video cameras and audio recorders at home—many recording artists prohibit them at their concerts.
