How to Find a Nude Beach in Antigua

While many resorts in Antigua offer topless sunbathing, there is only one recognized nude beach on the island. Here is how to find it.

  • Head to the west end of Market Street in St. John's, Antigua. Take two quick right-hand turns; the first is onto Valley Road and the second is onto Viv Richards Street.

  • Follow Viv Richards Street to Five Islands Village and continue on through the village.

  • Follow the road as it climbs to the entrance of Galley Bay Resort.

  • Once you reach the top of the hill and start descending, the first of the Hawksbill Beaches will be on your right. Park your car along the roadside.

  • Walking up the road to the entrance of the Hawksbill Resort and past the security building.

  • Walk behind the resort buildings along the path to the beaches. Go past the third beach and look for a sandy path that leads to a gate in a picket fence.

  • Go through the gate and follow the curve of the path to the nude beach.
