How to Play the Drinking Game Kings and Blood

This drinking game isn’t as violent as it sounds. When you play the drinking game Kings and Blood, you’ll be mostly dealing with beer. It’s a simple card game that adds a little twist to the normal routine of drinking with the buds.

Things You'll Need:

    Playing the Game Kings and Blood

  1. Step 1

    Order a pitcher of beer. Get a glass for each person and one extra glass.

  2. Step 2

    Shuffle a deck of cards.

  3. Step 3

    Place the deck of cards on the table.

  4. Step 4

    Pour beers for everyone playing.

  5. Step 5

    Decide who starts by flipping a coin or cutting the deck.

  6. Step 6

    The first person draws a card.

  7. Step 7

    Drink twice if the card is red and don't drink if the card is black.

  8. Step 8

    Pour a random amount of beer into the extra cup if you draw a king. Place the king face up on the table if you draw one.

  9. Step 9

    Discard your card in a separate pile.

  10. Step 10

    Continue around the table like this until you've used all the cards.

  11. Step 11

    Drink the entire contents of the extra cup if you draw the last king from the deck.

  12. Step 12

    Play until the fourth king has been drawn.

  13. Step 13

    Reshuffle the deck and play again.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you think you might draw the fourth king soon, don’t pour a large amount into the extra cup.
  • For variations, you can make the person who draws the fourth king buy the next round.
  • Never go out without a designated driver or some other arrangements for getting home.
