Ever wonder why you can't just stop fighting with your parents? You think that you are in college now and hould be able to relate better to your parents and get along better. These are some quick tips to help this dream become a reality.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • PATIENCE
  • Be able to count to 10, or whatever else calms you down.
  1. Step 1

First you must evaluate your relationship with your parents. Think about the fights you have with your parents and are you the one that makes a discussion turn into an argument?

  2. Step 2

One of the hardest things for humans to do is to admit that they are partially at fault. When you see a fight starting, try and calm down and do not make the moment even more heated. Chances are that this fight that seems so major right now won't even be remembered in the morning. If all else fails just hold your tongue and try and not say anything.

  3. Step 3

Remember or write down what you wanted to say. The next morning when the issue is behind you, calmly bring up the situation and discuss why you were angry.

  4. Step 4

Talking about what angers you at the moment won't make the situation better because during a fight even the best reason isn't heard.
