How to Find a Nude Beach on the Cape Canaveral National Seashore. Throughout Florida, you'll find many beaches where you can enjoy the sun and surf "in the raw." Follow these steps to find a nude beach on the Cape Canaveral National Seashore.
Visit Playalinda Beach. Drive along I-95 to State Road 406 in Titusville and cross the Indian River. Follow the right fork onto State Road 402. Watch for signs as you drive east to the beach, which is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Although public nudity is not legal here, sunbathers often doff their clothes on the beach. However, the police do occasionally make arrests and issue citations.
You'll find the clothing-optional portion of Apollo Beach just south of crossover #5. A sign near the last parking lot in the area warns visitors that they may encounter nudists in these parts. To reach Apollo Beach, drive along I-95 to the New Smyrna/Highway 44 exit. Turn east. At the A1A intersection, travel south about 8 miles until you reach parking lot 5. Park your vehicle and walk to the right until you reach marker 29. You have reached the clothing-optional section.
