Honokohau Harbor Beach is within the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park on the Kona Coast. You'll find it just off Highway 19, north of Honolokohau Harbor. Many nudists sunbathe here, but remember that public nudity of any kind is illegal in Hawaii. If the park rangers catch you sans clothes, they will issue a citation.

You'll find Steam Vents off Highway 130 at mile Marker 15 near Hilo. Natural caves housing clothing-optional steam baths are the lure here. The nearby Steamvent Guesthouse also boasts a clothing-optional policy.

Visit Kehena Beach, or Dolphin Beach as the locals call it, You will find it on the Hilo side of the Puna district, off Highway 137. Known across the island for its black sand, Dolphin Beach's foliage offers nude sunbathers a bit of privacy.

Federal National Park Service rangers have discontinued allowing nudity at Honokohau. People are ticketed there for nudity, and have been for a few years. It WAS a nude beach, not now. Please do not suggest people use that beach nude until the legal situation changes. makalawena Beach on Kona side north of Honokohau or Kehena on Puna (east) side are good alternatives now.
