Having a good experience while experimenting with sexual positions is largely a question of attitude, good communication with your partner and feeling ready to try out something new. Here's how to perform the basic rear-entry sexual positions, which can lead to deep penetration and great satisfaction for both partners.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water-based lubricant
  • Condom
  1. Step 1

Position yourselves so that the woman has her back to the man. She should be in a comfortable position on her hands and knees or bent over a bed, desk or other surface.

  2. Step 2

Place the tip of the man’s erect penis at the opening to the woman’s vagina and insert slowly. The opening should be wet enough to allow for easy penetration.

  3. Step 3

Push in slowly at first. This position allows for very deep penetration, which can be uncomfortable for some women, especially if they're not sufficiently aroused yet.

  4. Step 4

Move in and out at a pace that is comfortable for you both.

Tips & Warnings
  • While orgasm is the ideal conclusion, it will not necessarily happen every time, especially for the woman.
  • Stop if either of you feels any pain. The position might be too deep.
  • If the woman is not lubricated enough for easy entry, use a water-based lubricant such as KY Jelly or Astroglide.
  • Always use a condom for protection against unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
