Virtual sex, or cybersex, is becoming popular with increasing numbers of people—it’s risk-free, guilt-free and you don’t have to worry about what to say to your partner in the morning! Virtual sex can include using IRC (Internet Relay Chat), email, instant messaging or even the telephone. While many people use this as a way of spicing up their sex life with their current partner, it’s just as common to find people having virtual sex with others that they’ve never physically met.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need:

  • Credit card for a subscription to a Virtual Sex Bar

Have Virtual Sex With Your Partner

  1. Step 1

Start out by talking with your partner about his or her fantasies—anything goes here so be as wild as you like. This is a good way of introducing sexual experiences that you haven’t had before.

  2. Step 2

Try to incorporate as many aspects of those fantasies as possible when you're ready to start your virtual sex session.

  3. Step 3

Be descriptive—recreate the feeling of having sex by paying attention to details such as touch, sound and smell.

  4. Have Virtual Sex With a Stranger

  5. Step 1

Locate a meeting place for virtual sex with others, such as a Virtual Sex Bar or online game.

  6. Step 2

Find a partner for virtual sex using the Web site’s search function, message board or chat function.

  7. Step 3

Discuss your fantasies with your new partner, then have fun acting them out!

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that it’s always your right to say “No” if someone asks you to do something you feel uncomfortable with.
  • Remember to be respectful of your partner—even though you’ll probably never meet in person, it pays to remember that there’s a living breathing human being on the other end of the connection.
  • Make sure that the person you’re having virtual sex with is a consenting adult.
  • If you’re having virtual sex with a stranger, remember that you never really know who’s on the other end—never give out any personal information that could be used to identify you.

on 1/28/2009 All erotica involves the mind. Virtual sex is simply another way to engage a partner's mind in the pleasures of sex. When I do so, I begin from three premises: first, that this partner has made herself avaiable for the experience because she wants to experience something new. Second, that she is hoping to be taken to a deeper level of erotic feeling than she has previously experienced. And third, that I am performing for her just as surely as if she were with me in the flesh.

With these three premises in mind, I make the experience for her very bold and detailed. The deepest pleasure is in the details. At critical performance in our virtual fantasy, I ask her to close her eyes and feel what I have described. I always end the fantasy with an expression of my own pleasure, and hold out the offer of another fantasy. For those who don't see any point to it all, I would just say that some

on 12/28/2008 obviously the people that say it's a waste of time have a very poor imagination. What more could you want then to please someone and yourself for just the fun of it??

on 12/20/2008 It like masturbating with a twist, especially for people like me, I don't have a very good imagination. (atleast not alone) I used it to gain knowledge of what my 'partner' liked. He later became THEE BEST BOOTY CALL EVER!!!
