Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Be sure to select a Bluetooth receiver that is compatible with your GPS navigator. The instruction manual for your navigator contains this information.
Step2
Consider the range of the GPS Bluetooth receiver. Different Bluetooth systems have different ranges. If your only intention is to use the GPS system in your car, you do not need a long-range receiver. If you plan to take the receiver out of the car -- for example, for hiking -- you may need a longer-range receiver.
Step3
Consider your durability needs. You do not need a highly durable or waterproof receiver if you plan to use it for simple car travel only. Most people, however, want a Bluetooth GPS connection so they can use the GPS device outside the car. Be sure to select a Bluetooth that is durable enough for your intended use.
Step4
Think about how much you want to spend on your Bluetooth GPS receiver. The more durable the receiver your select, the more it will cost.
