How to Install a Ceiling Fan Controlled by a Pull Chain

Things You'll Need:

• Power screwdriver
• Tools recommended by your instructions

1. The mounting bracket should be installed to the workbox already in the ceiling.

2. Remove the larger screws and lock washers from the top of the motor housing.

3. Secure the canopy to the housing using the same screws.

4. Hang the fan on the hook.

5. Connect the wires as directed in your instructions. Remove the canopy from the hook on the mounting plate.

6. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate with the provided screws.

7. Have an electrician check your work if possible before turning power back on.
