Ok, you’ve got transport and you’re on your way to freedom, right? Not quite. Remember the Special Forces guy with the scars? He’s a little loopy, and he doesn’t really want you to leave. He’s got this big tank and he’s about to give you the business end, but you won't let that happen, right? You want to live, right? Good!

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Step1
Hold down X once the fight with the tank starts. This will keep your gun firing and ensure you’re always shooting something. No need to worry, as you have unlimited ammo.
Step2
Look at the front corners of the tank’s main body. Notice the green lights? Shoot those, and keep firing! If you see puffs of flame coming from the tank, you’re hurting it!
Step3
Watch for a small sensor on the turret. It will pop up and emit a green laser beam. Shoot this sensor the second you see it and keep shooting it until it goes away. If the green tracking beam turns red, you’re about to get a cannon round in the face!
Step4
Keep an eye out for the small gray helicopter drones. The tank may or may not flood you with a bunch of these little irritants. Shoot them quickly before they become a problem.
Step5
Shoot the missiles! The tank will invariably launch a volley of missiles in your direction. If you’re lucky, the pilot is being an idiot and will launch them right into a wall. If you’re not, they’ll come toward you. There are always four of them, and they are pretty slow for missiles. Shoot them down to avoid further complications.
Step6
Continue shooting the weak spots and defending yourself until the tank craps out. Tada! You just made your way from a tough fight to an even tougher one!
Step7
Watch the video, get psyched and get ready. This fight, despite appearances, can be ludicrously hard or ridiculously easy. Follow these steps to make it the latter!

Brock

Step1
Move down onto the main body of the tank as soon as you can move. Take the rear section, which is bigger. Stay there.
Step2
Jump-kick Brock when he comes down to hit you. He expects you to move back up and so will not fight back. He’ll just move back up and laugh at you.
Step3
Do a roundhouse after your jump kick. It doesn’t always work, but you may get an extra hit in.
Step4
Keep jump-kicking Brock until he dies. If you stay on the main body and keep jump-kicking him when he comes down, he may not even touch you. No, this isn’t cheating! He was made to fight you on the turret and the odds are stacked in his favor, so think of it as a gift from the developers.
Step5
Pat yourself on the back once he's dead. Congratulations! You just earned the True Ending!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you feel like a challenge, jump onto the turret and fight Brock there with the Double Lariat. It doesn’t work well, and he’ll probably get behind you and start snapping your bones, but it can be done. Try to knock him into the zombies with a good, solid kick.
