How to Get Into and Live Through Overtime Mode in Dead Rising, Part 2

You're in Overtime Mode and you've just collected the last of your lifesaving items from Paradise Plaza. Now it's time to move on to the Entrance Plaza. Watch out for Special Forces; their guns hurt! You can outrun them, but if you see more than two of them, give them the chop before moving on.

Instructions

1. Head into the Entrance Plaza. Go up the escalator and into Estelle's Fine-Lady Cosmetics (it's the first store, straight ahead). The Perfume Bottle is on a shelf in the middle, just before the cash register.

2. Make your way to Sports High in the Entrance Plaza (the other end from Estelle's, on the lower level; it has tents set up inside). Look for the Camp Stove on a shelf toward the left as you go through the doors.

3. Return to the Security Room via the Entrance Plaza. (The door is no longer welded shut; the reason remains a mystery.) Grab some coffee filters.

4. Make your way to Wonder Jewels in Wonderland Plaza. The secret passage through the lady's room in Paradise is the fastest route (take the vent to the roof, use the door instead of the elevator to get into the warehouse and then into Paradise), but if you didn't rescue the guard on the Space Ride, stay on the second level of the Entrance Plaza and run to Al Fresca. Avoid Special Forces, which will slow you down. Plow through Al Fresca as quickly as you can. The Magnifying Glass is in the back of the Jewel store once you hit Wonderland.

5. Run to Seon's in the North Plaza and head into the Pharmacy. You're looking for First Aid Spray. You won't see too many Special Forces in there, and taking out those few should be pretty easy. They'll follow you into the Pharmacy, so taking them out first is advisable. Alternatively, run past them and bottleneck them in the hallway. Stop by the wine section before you leave and restock.

6. Grab the motorcycle as you're leaving Seon's. This will make the trip back to Carlito's Hideout a lot easier! Save after the big scene.

7. Give Isabella any Queens you've got on you now. You have to hand them in one at a time, but at least this will reduce the total you need to collect. If you don't have any now, just go and find some. The easiest way to get lots of Queens is to head back to Seon's and enter the Maintenance Tunnels. There are still tons of zombies down here, many of which may have Queens. Remember to bring lots of weapons and OJ down with you, or it could be a short trip.

8. Gather Queens a few at a time, turn them in to Isabella and then continue gathering until you give her 10. Take your time. If you've been efficient, you'll probably have lots of time to kill.

9. Head to the clock tower in Leisure Park before you hand Isabella your last Queen. This will give you a big scene that reveals your exit: some old tunnels under the tower. Hand in your last Queen! Once you've turned in the last one, say farewell to the mall.

Tips & Warnings

• By collecting Queens a few at a time, you allow yourself to gather weapons and health items at the same time. This comes in handy later!
