How to Put a Duvet Cover on Easily
Modern duvet covers are fastened by buttoning them together. However, struggling to get them on correctly over the bed is the most challenging aspect of this task. Ideally, two people work best to accomplish these steps, but one person can do it, although it will take a bit longer to complete. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Spread out the empty duvet cover, with the open bottom at the foot of the bed, and undo the buttons.
-
2
Grab the corner at the top of the cover with your "outside" hand.
-
-
3
With your "inside" hand, reach inside the duvet cover and grab that top corner and pull it all the way through the cover until it's poking out the bottom.
-
4
Grab the corner of the duvet itself and place it right next to that "poking out" corner. With your "outside" hand, pull both the corner of the cover and the duvet itself--you're now pulling the duvet up inside the cover, holding on to both it and the corner at the same time.

Once the duvet has been pulled all the way up into the cover, button the buttons.

Tips & Warnings
This is much easier with two people, one on each side of the bed.
You can button the buttons so they "disappear" inside, making for a more seamless look.
Keep the button-end down at the foot of the bed so the sleeper isn't bothered by buttons on his or her face.

I just turn the cover inside out, grab the top two duvet corners with the corners of the cover and shake the duvet into the cover.
