this will teach you how to make delicious spaghetti that never sticks and is always perfect!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

boil a large pot of water at least 3 quarts

  2. Step 2

bring water to a rolling boil and add in a tablespoon of salt and tablespoon of olive oil

  3. Step 3

put pasta in boiling water and boil for 10-12 minutes or until al dente

  4. Step 4

Drain pasta into a strainer and rinse with warm water

Tips & Warnings
  • Rinsing pasta with warm water eliminates the starchiness from the pasta so it does not stick together
  • "Al Dente" means to the bite and means the pasta is slightly undercooked
  • be careful not to burn yourself when draining the pasta
  • do not allow children to participate in making spaghetti because the boiling water can cause serious burns
