Things You'll Need:
- Internet access
- Computer
-
Step 1
Search the Internet. Look for Web sites for resorts that might have summer jobs openings.
-
Step 2
Narrow your search by deciding on a general location. There are regions in most seaside areas that are known for their resorts.
-
Step 3
Research the jobs available at the resorts that interest you and decide what area you'd like to work in. Beach resorts often have job openings in their culinary, housekeeping, retail and reservations departments.
-
Step 4
Research the job. Try to find out the duties it entails, the pay and whether it comes with accommodations. If not, research housing in the resort area.
-
Step 5
Choose two or three resorts to apply to. You should be able to find the address (to mail your résumé to) and possibly an online or printable application on the resort's Web site.
-
Step 6
Send your résumé and/or fill out the application. Write a résumé geared especially toward the job you're applying for. Include a brief but attention-grabbing cover letter with the résumé.
