How to deal with clothes-wrinkles--no ironing!

I'm a bizarrely domesticated gal. But there are some things I loathe. And ironing is one of those things. Here's a way to have fresh, smooth clothes. With no pesky steam.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Hang as much of your wardrobe as possible. The weight of the clothing will pull down a lot of potential wrinkles.
Step2
If you have a particularly wrinkled item, hang it in the bathroom while you take a hot shower. Ok. This IS steam. But it's fun, non-irony steam, so it doesn't count.
Step3
My favorite remedy: Febreze clothing freshener. Not only do they make your clothes smell like ocean breezes, if you shake the BEJESUS out of them, wrinkles come out like magic!

Tips & Warnings

  • Buy a mini bottle for travel--it works a treat for clothes fresh from the suitcase.

on 7/5/2007 If you're somewhere that you have access to a dryer, throwing the Febrezed, (so damp), garment into the dryer speeds up the process! I join you in your hatred of ironing...blech. Great article!
