How to Create a Customized Playlist With Program Mode on Your Sony CFD-ZW755 Boombox

Have you ever wanted to listen to the tracks on a CD in a different order? Perhaps you think two songs simply sound better when played consecutively, or you want to set up a program to work with a slide presentation. The Sony CFD-ZW755 lets you program up to 20 tracks on your CD to play in any order you choose.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sony CFD-ZW755 Boombox

Program a Customized Playlist on Your Sony CFD-ZW755

Step1
Press the “CD” button on the front of the boombox. The word “CD” will appear in the display.
Step2
Press the “Mode” button until “PGM” appears in the display.
Step3
Turn the “Preset – Time Set” knob until “01” appears on the right side of the display.
Step4
Press “DSPL ENT MEM” button until the track number of your first song appears on the left side of the display.
Step5
Repeat the last two steps to program the remaining tracks.
Step6
Press the “Play/Pause” button on your CD player to start play. The tracks will play in the order you programmed them.

Use the Remote to Program a Customized Playlist

Step1
Press the “Stop” button on your remote control. The word “CD” will appear in the display.
Step2
Press the “Mode” button on your remote control until “PGM” appears in the display.
Step3
Press the buttons for the numbers of the tracks that you want to play, in the order that you want them to play.
Step4
Press the “Play” button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Cancel the program by pressing the “Mode” button until “PGM” disappears from the display.
  • If you want to listen to your program again, you can record it on a cassette tape.
