Camping is a relaxing activity that can help soothe some of the stress we feel in today's world. Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the top spots for this popular past time. Read on for more information on how to camp along the Point Reyes National Seashore.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Point Reyes permits backcountry camping all year. You can camp in the Phillip Burton Wilderness or on Drakes Bay. In addition, you can boat-in on Tomales Bay.
Step2
You will need to make reservations for this camp.
Step3
The camp does not have car or RV camping. You will need to hike, bike or ride a horse into the camp. Or, if you are going to a boat-in camp, use a boat or kayak.
Step4
Before heading out for backcountry camping, you will need to pick up a camping permit from the Bear Valley Visitor Center.
Step5
When making reservations, you may call up to three months in advance of your trip. Call (415) 663-8054 on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
