How to Use the Repeat Mode on the Coby MP-CD475 Portable Audio System

Using the programming feature on the Coby MP-CD475 is usually used in tandem with an audio CD or USB device. If you have an audio CD or USB flash drive with songs or tracks you’d like to play, in an order other than currently recorded, the programming mode will allow you to change the playback order, up to 20 tracks at a time. Read on to learn how to use the repeat mode on the Coby MP-CD475 Portable Audio System.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • USB Flash Drive, Thumb Drive or CD Containing Audio Files
  • Coby MP-CD475

    Repeat a Single Track From USB or CD

  1. Step 1

    Switch the function button, located to the left of the CD door on top of the device, to “CD/MP3/USB.”

  2. Step 2

    For USB, remove the cover from the USB flash drive, if applicable. Insert the USB drive into the port, located below the LCD display.

  3. Step 3

    For CD, press the “Open/Close CD Door” button, located on top of system. Place the CD in the compartment with the play side down and graphic side up. Gently close the CD door.

  4. Step 4

    Press the “Repeat” button one time.

  5. Step 5

    Press the “Play” button to start playback.

  6. Repeat a Folder From USB or MP3-CD

  7. Step 1

    Switch the function button, located to the left of the CD door on top of the device, to “CD/MP3/USB.”

  8. Step 2

    For USB, remove the cover from the USB flash drive, if applicable. Insert the USB drive into the port, located below the LCD display.

  9. Step 3

    For an MP3 CD, press the “Open/Close CD Door” button, located on top of system. Place the CD in the compartment with the play side down and graphic side up. Gently close the CD door.

  10. Step 4

    Press the “Folder Up” and “Folder Down” buttons navigate through folders. The LCD display will show the current folder.

  11. Step 5

    Stop at the folder you wish to play.

  12. Step 6

    Press the “Repeat” button twice.

  13. Step 7

    Press the “Play” button to start playback.

  14. Repeat All Tracks From the USB or CD

  15. Step 1

    Switch the function button, located to the left of the CD door on top of the device, to “CD/MP3/USB.”

  16. Step 2

    For USB, remove the cover from the USB flash drive, if applicable. Insert the USB drive into the port, located below the LCD display.

  17. Step 3

    For an MP3 CD, press the “Open/Close CD Door” button, located on top of system. Place the CD in the compartment with the play side down and graphic side up. Gently close the CD door.

  18. Step 4

    Press the “Repeat” button three times.

  19. Step 5

    Press the “Play” button to start playback.

  20. Play and Repeat All Tracks in Random Order From the USB or CD

  21. Step 1

    Switch the function button, located to the left of the CD door on top of the device, to “CD/MP3/USB.”

  22. Step 2

    For USB, remove the cover from the USB flash drive, if applicable. Insert the USB drive into the port, located below the LCD display.

  23. Step 3

    For an MP3 CD, press the “Open/Close CD Door” button, located on top of system. Place the CD in the compartment with the play side down and graphic side up. Gently close the CD door.

  24. Step 4

    Press the “Folder Up” and “Folder Down” buttons to navigate through folders. The LCD display will show the current folder.

  25. Step 5

    Stop at the folder you wish to play.

    Press the “Repeat” button four times.
