How to Edit a Blogger Post With Microsoft Word

Blogger and Microsoft Word basically use the same formatting tools so, what you see in Word is pretty much how your Blogger post will look. However, some items might be scaled down to fit within the page. Read on to learn how to edit a Blogger post with Microsoft Word.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Blogger Web site.

  2. Step 2

    Log in.

  3. Step 3

    From the "Dashboard" click on "Posts" next to "Manage."

  4. Step 4

    Click on "Edit" next to the post you wish to change.

  5. Step 5

    Highlight all the text and images in the body. Right click on it and select "Cut."

  6. Step 6

    Open up Microsoft Word.

  7. Step 7

    Paste the text and images into the new Word document.

  8. Step 8

    Make the necessary changes. Click on "File" then "Save."

  9. Step 9

    Highlight the entire document. Right-click on it and click "Copy."

  10. Step 10

    Go back to the Blogger post and paste the newly edited text and images into the body of the post and click "Publish."

Tips & Warnings
  • You can save or delete the Word document. Saving it is recommended if other changes need to be made without having to transfer it again.
  • Save a draft of the post in Blogger before editing it with Word.
  • If you do not save a copy or draft of the old post, you will lose all changes once the new post has been saved.
