How to Change the Cassette Reverse Mode on the JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox

The JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox has many great features. You can play MP3 discs in addition to other forms of audio media, use your boombox as an amplifier, record guitar and microphone mixings and use the timer functions to play music at pre-determined times. When you play a cassette you can program it to play one side repeatedly or both sides in succession, so you don’t have to get up and change sides. Read on to learn how to change the cassette reverse mode on the JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Remote Control for the Boombox
  • Cassette
  • JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox
  1. Step 1

    Open the cassette holder by turning the “Lock/Release” knob counterclockwise.

  2. Step 2

    Insert a cassette. The side you want to listen to should be facing you.

  3. Step 3

    Close the holder then turn the “Lock/Release” knob clockwise.

  4. Step 4

    Press the “Reverse Mode” button to cycle through the different cassette playback modes. The display screen will indicate which mode is currently selected.

  5. Step 5

    Press the “Tape <>” button to start playback.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can only change the cassette mode using the remote control that comes with the JVC RV-NB1 Kaboom Series Boombox.
